What's up, everybody?

Welcome to the latest edition of Straight Shooter with yours truly, Stephen A. Smith coming at you as I love to do every Wednesday night from 6 to 8 p.m. over the airwaves of Sirius XM, POTUS Radio, Channel 124.

It is an honor and a privilege to be with you this week, and especially this week, rather especially on a night like tonight.

In just a few minutes, I will have a candidate for the mayor of New York City,

the one and only Mr. Andrew Cuomo, a three-term governor from the state of New York,

who obviously departed from office in 2021 and is now aiming to become the new mayor of New York City.

He is down in the polls, except it wasn't, it isn't rather, by more than 20 plus percent,

as has been the case for the last few months.

He has now closed to within 10 percent of Zoramam Dani, the Democratic nominee for the mayor's

position of New York City.

Mamdani is a socialist, a Democratic socialist of America.

He is a member of that organization, loud and proud with it, no doubt about that.

So this race is a test to see where the state of New York is, where parts of this country are

veering too. One would easily surmise that Cuomo has gained in the polls since Mayor Eric

Adams of New York decided to step out of the way of the race and now has thrown his support behind Andrew Cuomo.

A lot of people believe that Curtis Slee were the Republican nominee for the mayor's position,

the mayoral position of New York City.

He should step down since he doesn't have a snowball's chance in hell of winning.

And by stepping down, that's additional support that would come, that would presumably

come Andrew Cuomo's way, making the race for the mayor's position a dead heat.

But that has not happened yet, and I can't wait to talk to Andrew Cuomo about that.
