Summary

Episode 65 Andreu Batten

By all accounts, 36 year-old Andreu Batten was a friendly, out going Father of 4. In his hometown of St Augustine, FL Andreu was known as a Gentle Giant. But on June 2, 2012 his life came to a violent and mysterious end. Andreu had traveled to South Carolina with his father to their hunting cabin. Tired from a day of hard work, Andreu's father went to bed. Andreu however couldn't sleep and went out for a short walk. Three hours later, and ten miles away, a driver discovered a dead body in the middle of the road. The body turned out to be Andreu's. Despite head trauma, police could not find any sign of a traffic accident, or evidence of a hit and run, leading to the possibility that Andreu was dumped where his body was found. 12 years later, Andreu's case remains unsolved, and many questions are unanswered, including; how did Andreu's wind up dead 10 miles from where he was last seen? Andreu's Mother, Betty discusses her son's life and tragic death, and the frustration surrounding the case.
