So we are less than a month away from our first live summer series show, which is happening Sunday, May 8th, and stars Olivier Award winner and everybody's favorite Broadway diva, Leslie Margarita.

Tickets are just $10, and there are only 12 tickets left.

Leslie and I will go on at 6 p.m. but the doors open at 5 for our pre-show party.

If you're coming to the show, make sure you

get there early for the party. There will be music and food and a fancy photographer. Producer Mike

and I will be there with some of our fabulous Broadway friends. It's going to be so much fun. Once the

Welcome to the Theater People podcast. I'm Patrick Hines, your host.

You guys, I have to say that interviewing today's guests, the fabulous Andrea Burns,

was one of the most fun hours I've ever spent in a theater. First of all, she had heard of our little podcast before, which I just loved.

And secondly, she was completely game to share her stories and answer my sometimes ridiculously

vague questions. I first fell in love with Andrea as Daniela, the fabulous and maybe just a little

bit gossipy hairdresser in The Heights. And I was completely blown away by her as Gloria Fajardo, Gloria

Estefan's mother, in this season's On Your Feet. Of course, Andrea's long list of credits really

begins with Jason Robert Brown's groundbreaking songs for A New World back in 1995. Also, did you know

that those two went to summer camp together? Just a few things. I love recording these

interviews in dressing rooms before showtime because I think it really gives our listeners a sense
