and I pray that they receive even an ounce of closure,

because there is no justice

if they don't get to hug their George.

And I also feel so much dread for the way I just know things are going to go back to

business as usual in so many places. Folks will say, you know, justice was served, the system works, but one

guilty verdict does not justice make, not when an entire institution is still hunting us.

Guilty was the only correct call to make,

but we can't be satiated by a single conviction.

The point, the entire point, is that the whole system is
