Hey, everyone. I'm your other host, Caitlin, and welcome to this

week's episode where we're talking all about episode seven of Andor entitled Announcement. This

episode aired on October 19th. It was directed by Benjamin Karen and written by Stephen Skiff.

I am so excited to talk about this episode. We got new directors. We got new writers.

I'm here for it. Benjamin is probably best known for directing a lot of episodes of The Crown.

And Stephen is probably best known for writing and producing, I think, a lot of episodes of the

Americans. I think you can feel that tonally in this episode. So, Hailen, how did we feel about announcement? This episode was so good. I think you can feel that tonally in this episode. So Heelan, how did we feel about

announcement? This episode was so good. This is the earliest I've gotten up to watch and or.

I was up like pretty early. Like I usually watch it before work, but TBH have been a little

lacking in that department recently

where I feel like it's been a little later. You don't have to admit that publicly.

Yeah. Anyway, this week, though, I got up really early, actually, and watched it. And it was,

this was such a good episode. I, I loved kind of the pacing of it. I think that's something we've been talking a lot

with Andor is the pacing of the show and how it's so good and really makes for an exciting episode,

kind of no matter what happens. And even though there wasn't the same kind of tension this week

as there was last week, although

is it even comparable to last week? Is anything comparable to last week's tension? I don't

really think so. But I thought this episode was so well done. You know, we're right in the middle of

the first season. So we've kind of wrapped up those six episodes and now we're kicking off the last
