but the police are unseen doing forensics in the backyard, and they start digging.

You're listening to The Daily Crime. On the morning of September 8th, residents of Nevia Street in Falls Church, Virginia,

woke up to find police cars lining the street in front of one of their neighbor's homes.

By 10 o'clock this morning, I was walking up the street, and there were four or five police

cars and the tape all the way around.

It would be hours before they learned what had brought the police to this home.

A tip regarding the whereabouts of one of its residents, 78-year-old Truman Wynne.

Police said when had last been seen Sunday before he was officially reported missing Monday.

Joining us to discuss this case is John Henry, a reporter with WUSA in Washington, D.C.

John, first off, what have you learned about this 78-year-old man, Truman Nguyen?

We know that there was, I guess, problems in the household would probably be the best way to put it.

A lot of neighbors said that they routinely heard a lot of yelling and fighting in the

house prior to what happened with the gentleman's death. Apparently, there have been multiple

disturbance calls made to Fairfax County Police prior to the incident that occurred. People said it was

very routine to hear domestic disputes there.

It just sounded like it was a house in turmoil.

Let's talk about what happened then. It's Monday, September 6th that Truman Nguyen is reported missing.
