And tonight, we may be introducing a new character into our favorite little Lakers novella.

Adut Thero has been upgraded to questionable for tonight's game against the Pelicans,

NBA Cup game. Lakers are 1 and 0 in their group. Now, that doesn't mean that he's guaranteed

to play, right? I don't think he's projected to be in the rotation necessarily. However,

especially in the context of still licking my wounds from the butt kicking OKC gave us the other day,

Dee. I'm especially excited about him,

Dee, for a second round draft pick. Now, maybe that gets cold water thrown on it, but on a team

that needs athleticism, and I've been thinking more about that point as well, we'll talk more

about sort of the broader athleticism point. This is year three of Jackson Hayes on the team. It's year four of Vando on the team, two of the guys that I think that Adu would be competing for in terms of playing time. I know who they are. I've seen what they can do. I can't wait to see what a do can do. I think this is an important year in terms of determining everyone on the roster, kind of where you fit in and how much do you fit or at least get a glimpse of that. So I want to start there.

Do you talk to me a little bit about what you're hoping for out of Addu Thero?

Yeah. So I want to second the point that you're making Pete. I don't necessarily expect

Thero to get upgraded to questionable and then suddenly find himself playing a real shift in an NBA game
