My guest today is Professor Anne Rosalie David, commonly known as Rosalie David.

Professor David is an emeritus professor at the University of Manchester.

Her research specialties lie with mummies, bio-archology,

and the history of medicine. Within these fields, Professor David has initiated and led many projects investigating ancient livelihoods and pathology. As you will see, this knowledge is

abundant and personal, going to the very heart

of ancient Egyptian life. My interview with Professor David was organized by Pen and Sword

Publishing, who recently published her book A Year in the Life of Ancient Egypt. This book

dives deep into the daily life and world of the ancient Egyptians.
