Ancient Astrology in Thearian Practice Volume 2 that was just released today, basically,

So, hey Demetra, welcome back to the show, and congratulations on the release of the book.

Thank you. It's been a long road and I'm really happy to be close to the finish line at this moment.

Yeah, this has been a long time in coming. You've been working intensely on this book for the

past several years as the second and a two volume series on ancient Hellenistic Astrology and

the origins of Western astrology, basically, but it's also something you've been working on on a

longer time frame since you started seriously studying Hellenistic Astrology 20 years ago in 2002,

right? I think it was even longer than that, and then reflecting it goes back to 1993,

when, at that time, I was an astrologer very immersed in the mythic asteroids and

goddess spirituality in astrology, and at a Norwatt conference, I heard Rob Hand announced

beginning a project hindsight that was April of 1993, and because I had had a sort of

past life regression that showed me translating ancient texts in the Renaissance period,

I thought to myself when I heard Rob's announcement that there were reclaiming the tradition of

ancient Greek and Latin astrological texts, I thought, oh, perhaps I have some connection with this,

so I marched up and handed over my visa card, and that Rob later told me that I was the first

subscriber to project hindsight. So it was at that moment exactly 30 years ago now,

that I realized like I put my foot on the path that would inevitably lead me to this point

having completed these two works, though I didn't know that at the time, never the less like once

I was on that path, it seemed like there was hardly any leeway to get myself off of it.
