We're continuing our message series, the anchored life and stepping into this challenge that we've been going through as a church to read through the New Testament over an eight-week period of time.

I've been looking forward all week to this message,

been praying and anticipating.

God's put a word in my heart to encourage you today.

But as I was preparing on Wednesday afternoon,

I had this horrible earache like a piercing in my ear.

And I thought, you know, I probably should go to the doctor.

My throat was sore and get tested.

So I went to the doctor, one of my friends the week before somebody from our staff had strep

throat. So I'm like, I should go kind of rule that out. So I went to the doctor and the doctor said,

we need to test you for COVID. And so they tested me for COVID. I kind of was like boastful about the fact that in four years,

I've never gotten COVID, but unfortunately I came down with it. So today I am giving this message

from a stage. Nobody's really close to me, but I know God's going to use this message to encourage you.

I feel great. Family's healthy, but I want to be careful to

not spread and get anybody else's sick. Now, today, as we are continuing this series, I want to

talk about a subject that is so very important, the subject of faith, being anchored in faith.

Now, this challenge that we've been going through as a church,

we've been reading through the New Testament with the immerse Messiah Bible. And over an eight-week

period of time, our whole church together is reading through the New Testament. In fact, this week,

I heard that 21,479 people have said yes to the challenge.

And that's worth celebrating. We'll just celebrate right now that God is moving in the hearts of our
