Bob and Jake continue the series on the anatomy of a wound and discuss beliefs. Our lives are filled with experiences and we interpret these experiences and put meaning to them. We then agree with the beliefs that are either truths or lies.

We're continuing on in our series here about the anatomy of a wound.

We started with an introduction episode where we broke down the anatomy of a wound and then we went

and spent an episode there talking specifically about wounds and you broke down for us the seven deadly wounds and and now today we're picking up in the third episode which is going to be about beliefs and

Yeah so picture three concentric circles and picture this being even though the heart

isn't a circle.

Picture this is being the inner circle being the heart and the next two circles being the barriers around the heart.

And so where we're wounded in our hearts,

which our hearts are made for love,

we're wounded where we have an experience

of the absence of love either rejection abandonment

whatever those are and then we form beliefs around those experiences and

those beliefs actually are what keep us bound up in pain and those

that's the second circle and those beliefs are based in falsehood.

And that's the second circle and beliefs are both identity lies and judgments.
