In the complex and compelling French film Anatomy of a fall,

a husband is dead and his wife is the chief suspect.

The investigation in trial exposed the many riffs in their marriage, but did those riffs

drive him to suicide or her to murder.

As the evidence mounts in her fate is argued,

the couple's young son yearns to understand what happened and why,

and we are right there with him.
