An incredible ride. And it's a very short ride. It all happened so quickly.

Yeah, from that little shop on the King's Road to becoming one of the biggest bands in the UK,

it's fair to say, transforming the cultural landscape. And then, of course, the tragedy that was said and unseed.

And all that happened in just a couple of years.

Yeah, and we've, of course, argued that the driving force behind all of this was Malcolm McLaren.

Quite a difficult man to understand what motivated him, why did he do the things that he did?

What was he really like? A friend, I love this quote, has described him as having the vision of an artist,

the heart of an anarchist, and the imagination of a spiv.

Well, I'm absolutely brilliant. I don't think anyone's ever going to say that about me.

So, we want to know if that's true. So, on today's episode,

we're going to talk to Paul Gorman, who knew Malcolm. He was immersed in the punk scene.
