Hey everyone, welcome to another episode of Giants Talk.

I'm Cole Kuiper here with Giants Insider Alex Pavlovich.

It's been a busy yet, I don't know, dull, lackluster, finished to it of what should be a very exciting homestand.

But we're going to go over it today, Giants versus Royals, coming up with some very familiar faces in Pittsburgh.

Giants players and fans might be excited by who they get to see. And as we do on most Thursday episodes, Dwayne Kuiper will be joining us

to talk a little baseball. Before you only further, got to remind you that Giants Talk is presented

by Wendy's Breakfast. Do breakfast better. Wake up to oven-baked bacon and savory sausage

and a breakfast baconator. Start looking forward to tomorrow morning at participating U.S. Wendy's

during breakfast hours only. All right, Alex, Royals were in town. Giants don't see a ton of them,

and it always, of course, makes me think of of 2014 but they were looking at a sweep almost

back-to-back sweeps there if not for a uh unideal wednesday afternoon game um but what's

interesting is it seemed like Wednesday was the only day that uh they were really out hitting

the royals.

Yeah, it was, you mentioned, I don't know, how kind of flat it was, it was, I can't, I can't think of really many circumstances where you're coming off a sweep of the Dodgers,

a very loud, raucous weekend at Oracle Park.

And then you come Monday night, it's not just the Royals who are terrible.

They don't have like, it's not like when the angels came in here with Otani,

and there's that one reason to be hyped.

Like Bobby Wood Jr. might be that guy eventually, but he's not that guy right now.
