Hey, deserve listeners. I don't normally do this, but I made a reaction video for YouTube,

0:05.4

and at the end of recording it, I thought it would make a good audio podcast episode for you,

0:10.2

people that are listening on your phones and not watching on YouTube. So a little background

0:15.2

about this video in this audio is that there's a TV show called Nine of Diffiance,

0:21.6

and there's a cast member right now who is a reality TV show, a Russian woman. She's a little

0:28.8

person, and she's dating an American guy. And while the show was running, and there was the normal

0:37.0

drama of a reality TV show, it came out that she had posted some things on Instagram, I believe,

0:43.6

Facebook, you know, on the internet. That were of a racist nature, and she was called out

0:51.9

on the internet, and there was a huge drama around that, and I think she might be fired from the

0:57.9

show. I'm not really quite sure. And while this was happening, I did comment on it during the

1:04.4

reaction videos, but then she released a video apologizing. It's like an hour-long video where she

1:13.4

addresses all of the criticisms and tries to apologize. And so I, a lot of people sent this video

1:19.9

and said, yeah, you got to react to this apology video, which I always appreciate, by the way,

1:23.5

because I don't really scour the internet for these kinds of things. And so I decided to do

1:27.8

a reaction video to her apologizing for her racist social media posts. And if you don't know,

1:37.2

actually one of the posts actually addressed was attacking people like me as a half Asian.

1:43.4

So I wanted to get into that. And as I was recording the episode, I thought it'd just be a

1:48.7

short little reaction video, but it ended up being, I think, maybe a two hours long or something,

1:54.4

because she gets into a lot of different things. And there's a lot of things to comment in terms

1:58.4

of how she's apologizing, what she's saying, the implications of all that. And also, how do we,

2:05.4

as receivers of the racism and of the apology, how do we react? Because we're part of this system.

2:12.9

And if we're going to try to make the world a better place, not only do the racists or the people
