My name is Rob Maower. Today we're talking about some analyst reactions to Tesla earnings.

We also have updated short interest and a few other news and notes to cover.

Tesla stock on the day today did finish up 17.7% just under $300 to $299.68, so not quite as strong of a finish as the

$306 close to after hours trading yesterday, but still

slightly outperforming the NASDAQ, which finished up 0.8%.

Two quick updates before we get into the rest of the topics.

The first is that the Solar Roof release,

version 3, which was supposed to be today, according to Elon on the earnings call

yesterday, has now been scheduled for tomorrow, Friday, October 25thth at 2 p.m. Pacific Time.

Elon also said on Twitter that there would be an open Q&A call following that release.

It's unclear if that means open to the public, but hopefully that will be the case.

The other quick update is another sighting of Model Y, this time in Michigan at a supercharger,

spotted by somebody on Reddit.

Always nice to see the Model Y settings, especially in new states.

After market closed today, we did get updated short interest numbers for the settlement date

of October 15th, so these are before earnings, but short interest did increase since the September 30th settlement date from

36.1 million shares sold short to 37.2 million shares sold short.

So an increase of about 1.1 million shares.

This one's kind of interesting because if you remember back during that time period,

October 4th to October 17th, we had nine trading days in a row where Tesla had a higher
