Each Wednesday, we tried to do a mailbag with listener questions. Let's jump right in. Our first question is from Jimmy, who writes, John. I've been trying to look at the Detroit and Denver approaches to recent drafts to get a feel for what to expect the Jets to do this year. Detroit drafted a tackle in Dan Campbell's first draft. Darren Mugi was instrumental in scouting and ultimately deciding to draft Bo Nix last year,

all the while not letting it be known exactly how much they liked him.

The importance of tackle cannot be understated, but hedging against Justin Field not panning out,

hold some merit if their Bo Nix is available.

Would you expect the approach to be more likely Detroit or Denver?

So good question by Jimmy, because as Jimmy mentions, Glenn comes from Detroit, Mugi comes from Denver. So good question by Jimmy because as Jimmy mentions, Glenn comes from

Detroit, Moji comes from Denver. And these two teams have kind of approached the draft

differently through the years, particularly at the quarterback position. You know, Jimmy, the first

thing I would say is I would not necessarily assume that Glenn will do every,

Glenn is coming in and wants to do everything the exact same way Detroit did.

And I don't think Mugi is going to come in and try and do everything the exact same way

Denver did.

You know, at the end of the day, you have to remember that while they were there and while I'm

sure they took aspect, well, I'm sure they agreed with some of the things their team was doing, they probably disagreed with some of the things that their team was doing also. I'm sure there were aspects of the way the Lions built their team that Glenn maybe wasn't on board with. I'm sure Denver, Moji was not the guy making the final call in Denver, although he may have been instrumental

behind scouting Bo Nix. So I'm sure there are things that the Broncos did that Moji disagreed with.

And whenever you're talking about like one draft class, it's always dangerous to read too much
