Summary

Liverpool underlined why they are the Premier League champions with a superb 3-1 victory over Arsenal on Monday that came on the back of closest rivals Manchester City losing 5-2 at home to Leicester City. Man City followed that humiliating defender by signing yet another defender in the shape of the £65m Ruben Dias. But as Josh Williams and David Hughes explain on the latest Analysing Anfield podcast, Dias may not be the man to address their huge defensive concerns. Virgil van Dijk has certainly been a transformational signing for Liverpool, however, but Josh and David argue on Monday he showed why he is a problem solver in more ways than one as part of their deep dive into the win against Arsenal.
