Summary

Liverpool sit top of the Premier League with five wins from five, so there’s no need to worry despite defeat to Napoli in the Reds’ Champions League opener. Josh Williams is joined, once more, by David Hughes for your weekly tactical and analytic look over Liverpool’s recent showings. From seeing off Newcastle at Anfield to defeat in Naples, the guys look over the statistical data into the two showings. Looking at the midfield engine room both Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and James Milner come under focus while there are also plenty of plaudits for Roberto Firmino’s masterclass against Newcastle. Given the five point lead at the top of the table, there’s also a brief focus on what’s happened in the early weeks with Manchester City, prior to a brief nod to Sunday’s visit to Stamford Bridge to take on Chelsea.
