I know. We're back to the Brooke interviewing someone else other than me format.

And this episode was such a genuine delight.

I speak to Jess Davis, who I have spoken to before and was lucky enough to do an event with

in Brooklyn a few years ago.

Jess is quite honestly one of my favorite people.

I feel, as I say later in the episode, I feel like we're probably twins.

But you would probably remember Jess from Folk Rebellion.

She started an amazing community newspaper based around

folk rebellion, slow living.

But Jess has over the last couple of years really gone through a metamorphosis, I suppose,

personally, in terms of how she lives in the world and how she sees her work in the world, but also in terms of her thoughts

on like slow living and, you know, analog living. And we have a really juicy conversation about that and what it looks like to her,

which ties in, wasn't planned, but ties in quite nicely with the making chapter of care.

So it's, yeah, it's been, it was just, I've literally just finished talking to her, so I don't normally do the intro straight away afterwards, but it was such a pleasure.
