Hey, moms. I'm Durenda Wilson. I've been a wife for almost 31 years and a mom for 29 years. I have

eight children and six grandchildren.

And I have a word for moms that I think is of utmost importance.

Our world is quickly changing.

There are many things that are out of our control and downright frightening.

But I want to speak right now to your mom heart. As an older mom, I have experienced various

crises and learned so much from each of those situations. But I'll admit that I have never

seen anything quite like this. As I've prayed and prayed and prayed, God has made something very clear to me that I want

to convey to you. In spite of everything that's happening, listen carefully. Your role as a mom has not

changed. Why has has not changed.

Why has it not changed?

Because God is unchanging and your role is God-given.

That's why your role is unchanging.

What are you called to?

What are we called to as moms? We're called to teach our children

to love and serve God, Deuteronomy 11, 18, and 19. We're called to raise our children up in the

nurture and admonition of God, Ephesians 6.4.

We're called to train our children to be disciples of Christ.

These are God's priorities.

So as a Christian mom, they are our priorities. I'm convinced that in order to do this

well, we've got to have time. We cannot be hurried or distracted or over-scheduled, and that is

something that is a constant battle for most moms. God in his great mercy has given us an
