Hi everyone, it's Vanessa. As you all know, we are living in an unprecedented time.

As the CEO of Not Sorry Productions, I would like to share some updates with you all about

our current situation in light of COVID-19, our political leadership in the United States,

and JK Rowling's Transphobia. I just want to be transparent about where we are as a podcast

and as a company. Firstly, about the future of Harry Potter and the Sacred Text. We are so grateful

for your feedback on what we should do as next steps with our podcast. We heard from over a thousand

of you and combed through everything that you have said, and we have prioritized listening to our

listeners who told us that they are trans and non-binary. We have decided that when Casper wraps up

the series with us in March of 2021, Matt Potts will join me to treat Harry Potter's secret

for Book 1, The Sorcerer's Stone, as planned. It will definitely be a different podcast than what

we had originally imagined it would be. We will be discussing the right format for this new podcast

internally for the next several months, and we'll be using your feedback as our guide.

But for now, we want to tell you that we are going to at least try the first season and see how it

feels for all of us. Additionally, Casper is going to be launching a podcast about sacredness,

and T and I are cooking up another project as well. So Casper's voice will still be out there

in part of our production company. Secondly, about the state of our company. We are so lucky to support

Ariana, Casper, and myself through this podcast ad revenue and Patreon. As you might know,

not-sorry productions has also employed people to manage and support our local groups. Help us

run large-scale events like tours in the recent summer camp in Pilgrimages. Help edit audio

and manage our volunteers who do our transcripts, facilitate our Facebook group, and help us

accomplish goals like recording 300 voicemails to raise money for Black Lives Matter.

In the past, those staff have had their salary supported by our live events in Pilgrimages.
