Rosemary and Batty, called Rosie by most, was born in England and raised in a farm in

Nottinghamshire with her father and three brothers.

When she was six, her mother unfortunately passed away, and she found herself in the primary care

of nannies and her maternal grandmother.

The death left a lasting impact on her and her siblings, none of whom married, according to Rosie,

who later said, I think it really traumatizes you from having key relationships because of that

fear that they are going to leave you.

After high school and completing a secretarial course, Rosie worked briefly as a bank clerk
