Hello everyone. Welcome to Orthodox Shihada again. I'm Lewis and today I'm here with Father Deacon, Dr. Ananias.

For some of you, you may know him already.

He's done a lot of stuff with Jay Dyer.

But could you please introduce yourself for us

in terms of your academic background

and what your interests are?

Wonderful to be here.

Wonderful to see all of you.

I'm excited about this.

Yeah, just a little bit about my academic background.

I went to, prior to going to a four-year college,

I was studying physics and mathematics because I wanted to

actually go into physics. And then instead of transferring by God's Providence, I actually found

a classical liberal arts college, which was really nice because at the same time, I was taking classes at community college, a junior college, and philosophy. So I kind of wanted to do all of that stuff. But Lewis, as you know, schools are very specialized. It's like you can only pick one.

So the fact that I found classical order liberal arts,

Quadrivium, Tribium, based on the great books program,

was amazing that I was able to do all of that.

And so my background of studying mathematics and science played in very well.

And I got a bachelor's in liberal arts, classical liberal arts from Thomas Aquinas College,

the great book school that was equivalent to a double major in philosophy theology,

double minor in mathematics and physics, science.
