Greetings and welcome to a Wednesday edition of the Shotgun Start. It is July 19th. Andy, how are we doing?

Brendan, I'm doing great. We are on the eve of the open. I am kind of contemplating my schedule, my schedule this time of year.

How am I going to tackle this thing? And I don't have any good answers.

It's a different, unique challenge. Of course, this time last year we were over in Scotland, which made it a little more, you know, customer and routine than we're used to for major championships.

Did not make, decided not to make the trip this year. And here I am back to some of my older blogging days of 10 years ago where I don't know except now I have four kids and a bunch of other bullshit going on in my life that like can I wake up at 130 Eastern to watch Sandy Lyle or whoever would be this now it's Matthew Jordan, I think the local kid go from the first T on.

I don't know, I don't know what we're going to do. I usually the best play is just to take your beatings the first night and just go catch a nap Wednesday afternoon catch a good nap Wednesday.

Wednesday after Wednesday Easter United States time and then just stay up all night. You think I should just stay up through.

Now yours is a little different yours is literally starting like at night Wednesday night. What is the 10th or 10 o'clock base 10 30 West Coast.

With the best players. I don't want to say best, but the kind of the featured groups starting around what would be one local for you.

It's a tricky for the East Coast. I'm thinking I'm taking sleepy pills are my best bet.

What does that mean? That seems like a dangerous game.

You know, I might need to find some things that make you sleep and just knock myself out at 7 p.m.
