Welcome back to another episode of the Adam Schaefter podcast, the post-draft episode of the Adam Schaefter podcast, back from Cleveland, and we'll be joined today by ESPN draft analysts, Mel Kuiper Jr. and Todd McShay as they take you

through the winners of the 2021 NFL draft as well of some of the details of their personal lives.

But I think when we look back on this past week, it's all about the quarterbacks in the draft,

but the story continues to be the veteran

quarterbacks at the NFL level.

We started the offseason talking about Aaron Rogers, Deshawn Watson, and Russell Wilson,

and we will continue to talk about Aaron Rogers, Deshawn Watson, and Russell Wilson.

There are storylines that don't threaten to go away anytime soon that could last all the

way into and beyond training camp.

And there's none bigger right now than the Packers quarterback Aaron Rogers.

And right now, it looks like he wants out of Green Bay.

And it looks like he wants the Packers to be the bad guy. And he wants

the Packers to be the ones that go and trade him. And in talking to various people about this

situation for weeks and it has been going on for weeks, I think it's a situation where at some

point in time, Aaron Rogers is going to have to be willing to get some mud on him.

And I think the mud will wash off in the shower over time.

Look at how Green Bay feels about Brett Farve now and he played for the Minnesota Vikings.

But this is not going to be a pretty process to go through if Aaron Rogers ultimately is going to get what he wants, which is not to play again

in Green Bay. Either he's going to have to be forceful with the organization, demand to trade,

tell him he's not coming in, be open to the idea of telling them he'll retire, maybe make a public

statement, whatever it may be. But he can't get

what he wants, I don't think, by acting passive aggressive here and letting the Green Bay Packers
