Welcome to the Bill Barnwell Show. I am Bill Barnwell. Today, I wanted to not reuse an idea, but expand on an idea. When I was doing a podcast a couple weeks ago with Underdogs Josh Norris, I asked him a question about what he would want to know right now if he could know something about the 2023 NFL season.

Well, I thought it was a cool idea. Josh should have been the whole podcast. Today, it is going to be the whole podcast, but it's not going to be with Josh Norris. It's going to be with a friend of mine who I think thinks about the league in a very interesting

and big picture way. And that is the athletics, Robert Mays. Mays.

Mays, do we feel like we're on the same page here with this idea?

I think so. Maybe the ones I'm going to throw out are not exactly. I do we feel like we're on the same page here with this idea?

I think so.

I mean, maybe the ones I'm going to throw out are not exactly what you were thinking about,

but I think we're generally on the same page.

This was the classic thing where I said I'd give you five and then when 10 minutes before we started recording, I was like, I have eight.

Yes.

Not surprising.

And to be clear, like, I guess you could be like, oh, who's good, I want to know who's going to win the Super Bowl.

That's not a good question. Like, we want to find out things that are going to inform what we're actually watching for this year.

If those are one of your eight, you can take that one off the list.

That is not one of my eight, so we're safe there. Okay. We want to learn really about, you know, things that are up in the air,

and that might help us preview this upcoming season as we approach the start of the NFL

very shortly.

Next week, I believe, is when football is starting, if I'm not mistaken.
