The targets were Americans, Jewish people, and any U.S. interests, according to investigators. These are some of the cases.

Planning bombs at the Israeli embassy in London, a Bank of America building in Paris, and a synagogue target in New York City, Los Angeles, and Scottsdale. Al-Assadi was taken into custody in Turkey, taken down with information from an undercover agent who was posting as a member of a Mexican cartel group. They arrested Al-Sadi, brought him here to New York City, where he's facing six counts of terrorism-related offenses. For the motive in this investigation, the DOJ says
