Starting with a piece from Market Watch,

DA Davidson analyst Gil Luria picked up coverage of Apple's shares with a neutral rating late Tuesday, warning that the company needs to get unstuck when it comes to generating exciting new things.

Picked up, by the way, from Tom Tom Forte who'd already had a neutral or hold rating on

Apple's shares and a price target of 180 bucks. Tif ranks shows Luria with no stated price target on Apple shares.

He's got opinions though, quoting his Apple covering debut.

While Apple has continued to introduce new form factors, especially within the

wearables category, the handset and watch form factors have seemed to plateau over the last three to four years. In the meantime other innovative

companies are not only introducing new form factors, for example AI PIN, AR

glasses, but also challenging the form of the handset itself, for example, folding

handsets.

And all that, the well-worn concerns about iPhone and China, home-grown competition has an advantage, according to Luria, while buyers in India are said by the endless to be seeking more compelling products given the amount

iPhones cost compared to the amount of money made by the average consumer on the

subcontinent. He thinks Apple might do well with a generative AI play, though Market

Watch says he questions whether the company would see much traction with a hypothetical

generative AI app store.

Kind of curiously doesn't mention Apple Vision Pro.

Anyway, the market watch piece doesn't mention any mention. Now here's one that might get Luria's goat, assuming
