On today's edition of the Thrive Time Show, we celebrate Memorial Day by honoring

the life of the 95-year-old World War II, Vietnam, and Korean War veteran Richard Gruill Sr. This man is 95 years old and he fought

for our freedom because freedom is not free. He wants to know if you could talk to the governor or the lawmakers about the virus.

What would you say to them?

Oh, I'm going to tell I don't worry too much about the virus but think more about the veterans who gave up their time and some of them gave their lives so that we can be free.

And I enjoyed speaking to the schools.

I go to the school and speak to the student body

and I enjoy that.

And I would enjoy going to speak to the governor and the Washington State General

Council of Olympia to speak to them about my experience and everything, and let them know exactly

what happened during that one particular day on Normandy on the beach of Omaha which was the worst beach of all and I did

what did know what our feelings were during the period of time and I enjoyed, I missed joy speaking to the school.
