And what would you say is some of the ways that COVID has directly impacted the home care

industry?

Well, first of all, I think it has affected the home care industry just by, you know, being out in front.

I often say that right now at this moment in time, I keep going back to the Charles Dickens novel, The Tale of Two Cities, when they say it was the best of times, it was the worst of times.

Because it is the best of time just because being an advocate for home care for probably over 20 years,

I have to tell you that I didn't think I would ever see the day that a sitting president would make home care

a centerpiece of a major initiative.

And we saw that happen when President Biden released the American Jobs Plan, when he earmarked

$400 billion to home care.

I think the pandemic, while it has been the worst of times having to live through the pandemic, there is also, though, been some silver lining. And one of the things that has come out of the pandemic is that now home care is being seen as a real alternative to keep people safe, to care for people in their homes.
