So I'm about to get on the M-track train in New York.

Last week I took a short track.

So if you're wondering why I was on this M-track train to DC and for that matter, if you're

wondering why this episode just popped up in your podcast feed, well here's what happened.

We originally taped and released the first six episodes of this series, which hopefully

you've already heard.

And we thought that was the end of it.

But then we heard from our main character.

We had asked Newt Gingrich to take part in an interview for the first six episodes,

and we'd been unable to arrange anything.

You probably heard that during the first six episodes.

But once we released all six of them, the executive producer of Newt Gingrich's podcast

reached out, and we settled on a time for me to interview him.

I was thrilled we were going to get this chance because obviously Newt Gingrich is central

to the entire story we told.

Oh, the good one?

Yes.

But it turned out he had listened to all six episodes of the podcast, and he had plenty
