You know, the worth that you're still doing to this day, A, you haven't aged, I don't get it. B, these stories are so

amazing and it's truly the same journalism you've always done, but something seemed

to happen where journalism left you. It wasn't like you left journalism.

Is that a good way to characterize it? Journalism changed, but you kept doing the job.

That is a good way to characterize it also because people try to say, oh, you know, she became

some right-wing crazy or whatever. No, I didn't. I just followed the facts wherever they led me and I didn't

care about the ideology like I would be

reporting what I'm reporting regardless of who's in power you know for me it's not

about who's in power and it never has been. But when you're the ones that are orchestrating,

you know, a campaign to destroy the credibility of the media

or all the many other things that we're looking at today,

I'm going to call that out and unfortunately you know what I discovered

when I did that was that the world I lived in wasn't real. It was it was really

kind of fake in a way because we thought we were all shoulder to shoulder in

the trenches fighting for honest independent journalism and when it came down to it
