And Erin, I wonder who you have seen over the years that kind of models this concept of being intentional in marriage.

Anybody come to mind?

Well, it's interesting, as I was thinking of that, not just one person comes to mind.

Because I'll tell you so often when a couple comes in for counseling they're in a season of being intentional because things

haven't been going well and so when they come in for counseling I mean they're investing time and money

that they are investing in their marriage intentionally.

Okay.

And there's times I just sit back and go, I'm so proud of you guys, that you're either listening to podcasts, they're reading books, and they're coming to counseling, and especially the

ones that hear information at counseling and then go home and apply it.
