Tell me about the imperative to write this book.

What exactly is at stake?

Well, I think the whole country is at stake, to be honest with you.

I mean, the reason I wrote the book, Crimes Against America, the left's attempt to take down our republic, is really a response to what I've seen over the last few years.

You know, a lot of the actions that we've seen, you know, they kind of, you kind of wonder, is it really just

a question of generational evolution, or is it a question of something even bigger? And to me,

what we're experiencing now is an effort by the left to take down this country. And we saw

it first with President Barack Obama and has promises to transform or do a, how

did he say it, he would fundamentally transform the country.

And then, you know, everything that happened during his administration as it relates to

politically correct speech and how we had to say things a certain way and how they didn't like hate speech. And then,

you know, you kind of forward, you go forward to Joe Biden. And then you've got the real kind of leftist,

socialist, Marxist mentality of, you know, your kids are really our kids. And capitalism and the

merit system is, yeah, it's pretty awful. And everybody should get a

trophy just for showing up. Forget about winning. Forget about meritocracy. So the genesis of the book

was really in my frustration having realized that there's a big plan to basically take down every institution of our government.
