Summary

In this episode, we take a stock report on Michigan’s future, using our 20 under 20 in 2020 story as a guide as we tackle three key questions surrounding the Wolverines’ underclassmen corps.

First, we look at which incoming freshmen are likely to burn their redshirts in the 2020 season. We identify four highly likely players, then take a look at defensive depth, and how freshmen could be answering the call at a few positions.

Then, we take a look at key players who redshirted last season, but shouldn’t be forgotten about in 2020. Offensive line players are heavily discussed, but so to are several defensive players who are following a common precedent in Don Brown’s defense.

Finally, we take a peek at the top of our list, citing six players who have legitimate All-Big Ten potential in the 2020 season. We discuss their NFL futures, ceilings at Michigan and just how good of a young core this is for the Wolverines to build around.
