Hi, everyone. Today, I have some important news to share with you all, and it is not an easy

announcement for me to make. After almost seven years of co-hosting Sarah's Bookshelves Live with

Catherine and me, Susie will be stepping away from the show. This is really bittersweet and emotional

for all of us, and we've been working through that behind the scenes recently.

Susie has been with us since the very beginning. And before that, she and I shared a years-long

friendship built around books. We had so many wonderful conversations about books and reading on the

show. I know her voice, her perspective, and her book picks have been a huge part of what so

many of you love about this podcast. And as you all know, she is one of my best recommendation

sources for books. Pretty sure she's been actually my number one recommendation source for the past

few years. And don't worry, I will continue to look to her for great book recommendations.

And I really hope that you all do too.

Over the years since the show kicked off in 2019, we've all gone through life changes

and priority shifts.

And priority shifts are the main reason we came to the decision that it's time for

Susie to step away from the show.

While this was a really hard decision, I cannot tell you how hard.

It was made with care and respect.

Although she's moving on from the podcast, Susie and her thoughtful book recommendations

and gorgeous photos can still be found on her Instagram account at novel visits. Though Susie is

not on the mic with me today, I do have a message to you all directly from her. It's with a heavy
