Welcome back to the latest edition of the Arball presented by Trader Joe's.

I am Bruce Feldman, joined, as always, by

my colleague, Stuart Mandel. And Stu, we have a really good show today. We're going to be joined by

our friend, Bucky Brooks, who is a scouting whiz, who former NFL scout, former NFL player,

who's got a lot of insight on a lot of things and I think our listeners will enjoy

hearing from him. But let's say maybe take the pulse of where we feel like we're at with

everything that's going on around the country. And certainly as it relates to college football,

how confident are you, Stu, that everything's going to start on time?

You know, it's definitely been a rough couple weeks in that department.

I had, when, when COVID first hit, I think we were all, you know, very, you know, everything was

up in the air. You didn't, you didn't quite know what to make of everything

yet. But everybody just kept saying, well, we've got time, right? We've got four months, five months,

whatever it was until the football season, we'll know a lot more. So you just kind of put that on

the back burner. And then when the number started to go down across the country, and then certainly when college football teams started, felt, you know, comfortable to have

their athletes come back and start training, I frankly kind of put it aside.

Like, yeah, we're going to have a college football season.

Let's, let's do this.

And then obviously things have taken a turn for the worst.

I mean, first you had some pretty, you know, alarming numbers of players

testing positive at certain schools. But, but now it's not just football, right? The whole country

we're seeing, I think the numbers have almost doubled in the last two weeks, certainly some

states, Arizona, Texas, Florida is really, really rough right now.
