Vanity Fair, Senior Hollywood writer. On In the Limelight, we analyzed the ins and outs of pop

culture, entertainment,

and celebrity from the past week, from the Kardashians to Kate Middleton and everything in

between. A lot to discuss this week. Julie is going to recount her night at the Emmys for us,

where I'm very curious to hear if she crossed paths with the now famous, newly engaged couple that the

proposal happened as we all saw on stage.

Josh is also going to recount his evening with Rihanna at Rihanna's Diamond Ball,

where he got very close to the queen herself. I haven't heard an official recap,

so very excited to hear how this went. I feel like you've had a few evenings with Rihanna.

This was not the first. No, this is not the first. And won't be the last. We're also going to

discuss Megan's first solo project as a royal. I love her first solo

project the way I wrote. That makes it sound like she did like a craps project, like a first

graders craft project or something. I was thinking it like she was in Destiny's Child and this

was like her first solo album. Oh, her first solo album. That's better. That's funny. But let's talk about the most

recent thing first or something like that, which is the Emmys. Julie was back. We've talked about

this a few times, the setup with the reporters in the press room where the winners come back.

I guess does everyone come back? Only some winners come back, I guess.
