Hello.

And we just wanted to hop on here because this has been a very, I'm sure everyone knows, a heavy week.

It's been a heavy week for our family, which is something that is remarkable about the situation with Charlie Kirk and his public assassination that just happened this week.

We didn't know him personally, and a lot of people didn't, but one thing that we've noticed is not just in our own selves, but in nearly everyone we know and everyone we've been seeing online

is that everyone was devastated and impacted by it.

Impacted by this event.

And I think there's a reason for that.

We just wanted to hop on here, though,

and just share kind of what's been going on in our hearts this week,

how we've been navigating with our family. As encouragement to you our listeners and um you know we have families

and we have children and we this is the world we live in and as believers there's a way to think about

it and it's kind of hard to do in the midst of the actual turmoil that's taking place when you're seeing all this and the confusion and the fear and the chaos and the pain

and but it's been good to to think about those things this week as we've prayed through

this as a family and talk to our friends and even in church this morning and our pastor,

just really encouraging all of us with the perspective we should have as believers.

And so we wanted to hop on here and encourage all of you,

because I'm sure you guys are all feeling very similar things as us.

Questions and concerns and confusion and chaos and fear fear but we have a good God so yeah
