Friends, and listeners, allies, welcome to the Wallet Heart podcast here in the week of

August 2nd, kind of, not that it's kind of the week of August 2nd.

It's very definitely the first week of August, but kind of it's the Wallet Heart podcast,

because actually I'm here to announce that we are taking the month of August off.

And there's a couple of reasons why.

First, our building is under renovations, like total, cleared out, absolute ghost town

renovations here in kind of the way our podcast schedule goes.

The renovations are actually taking place earlier this summer, as I'm recording this.

I'm literally in the building the last day here for a month, because we've got contractors

in and all this stuff going on, and so the staff has just decided, look, let's all

take our various family trips and summer vacations here, and we'll clear the building

out.

We'll get the renovations done.

But that also means we can't be in the podcast studio recording.

So we got to that point where we're like, well, we could double up and double down,

and let's get all of August recorded, you know, back in May and get this done before

the renovations and yet, and I was feeling the pressure of that, and I was feeling the

pressure on myself, but I was also feeling the pressure on our team to just get it done,

crank it out, do more, be amazing, and I thought, you know what, I don't like the spirit

of that.
