I was just a teenager when my dad came into my bedroom one morning and said, I have something

for you. And he put on my bedroom mirror a little sticker. One word was on that sticker, and it was the word attitude.

I must be honest with you and tell you that I hated that sticker every morning when I got out of bed.

The first thing I saw was the reminder to check my attitude.

You know, that's not just true in youth.

It's true all through life.

And it's true for all of God's children.

Constantly, we have to check our attitudes.

The disciples had to learn this as well.

We're journeying with Jesus through Mark chapter 9,

and in verse 30 the Bible says,

And they departed thence,

and passed through Galilee,

and he would not that any man should know it,

for he taught his disciples and said unto them, the son of man is delivered into the hands of men.

They shall kill him, and after that he has killed, he shall rise the third day.

But they understood not that saying and were afraid to ask him.
