Hey folks, welcome to the Michael Still podcast.

It is Wednesday, January 6, 2021.

And on this day, we witnessed an attempted insurrection, an attempt to cue of our government

by citizens who are avid followers and adherents of Donald Trump.

I will no longer refer to Mr. Trump as President.

I will no longer look upon him as someone who leads this nation.

The only thing he has been leading is an insurrection against the Constitution and American

people.

And we need to be clear about that.

We can no longer afford to pretend otherwise.

Senator Josh Holley, Senator Ted Cruz, Senator Ron Johnson, and the ten other members of

the United States Senate along with the 126 members of the House Republican caucus.

Who stoked, inflamed, encouraged, ignored this event, knowing full well the dynamite

they had in their hand, knowing full well the match they had lit are responsible for

what happened in our nation's capital on this day.

As individuals stormed the United States capital doing the convening of the House and the

Senate to confirm the electoral college vote for the next president of the United States,

Joe Biden.

This is the lowest moment that I have experienced as an American in my lifetime.

To watch the political leadership of one party in this country inflame the passions of insurrection,

blindly and probably willingly ignoring the consequences.

It is a sad day.
