Welcome to episode number 1,177 of the Potter's cast,

and it's good news because we are in eggnog season. So I am currently

at that point in life where I get to make my eggnog latties again in the morning. So good.

Just add a little, first off, I'm making the tea like normal. I brew it, all this stuff,

and then after it's done being steeped, add a teaspoon of agave, and then I use eggnog to

sweeten it. Oh my word. So good. Any of I'm so stoked. Eggnog season is back. We had an amazing

weekend at the studio at Clay Works, Vancouver.

We had this great thing happen. We had Kim Merton, who was the person who taught me and my family

how to do Clay way back in the day. I mean, like way, way back in the day.

And she came and taught a class at Clayworks.

And I told her, I said, Kim, none of this would even exist if it weren't for you being willing to teach somebody how to do clay.

And I just was so honored to be able to do that,

to be able to have Kim there doing that. It was so good. Well, I don't want to spend a lot of time

talking about clayworks and eggnoglotte teas, though those are two great subjects I do want to

talk about Michael Dickey who is going to be a guest on today's show and he is a

maker in New York he's not just a maker he's an artist and good night he makes some

incredible work absolutely mind-boggling.
