recorded recently when, as a guest of the cultural services of the French embassy,

I was in Paris for the very first time.

My guest today are American novelist Dennis Cooper and French director choreographer

As everyone knows, Paris has long been a home to expatriate writers.

And one of the great pleasures for me while here was that a writer who began in Los Angeles,

Dennis Cooper, has been living here for nearly three years. And he has, in addition to a rather ambitious blog and his own prose writing, he has been working

in collaboration with Giselle Vionn, who is a director and choreographer, and they have done

four collaborative pieces together.
