All right, welcome in to Snuffing Torches, Our Survivor, Season 42, Episode 3. Recap, it's me, Tommy Smokes, Nate, Glennie Balls.

Jeff D. Joe Lowe and Jake Marsh will be joining soon. Jeff was almost on

tonight. I'd expect to have at least one of them on next week. And then once college basketball

season ends, I believe we'll be having the full crew. It feels like it's been forever. But for now,

it's us three. And guys, what an episode.

That was an hour-long reminder of why Survivor is still the best show on TV.

That was Survivor, reaching back for its fast wall and just saying, hey, I could still

throw fucking 99 on the black whenever I want to.

I think it was hands down the best episode of this new era of

Survivor, you know, drop the four, keep the one or whatever, drop the four, keep the monster era.

The monster era, for sure, the best episode of Survivor. To me, this was the first episode, it's

felt like in these last one plus seasons where

all these new twists and advantages have actually impacted the show in a positive manner,

where it's like, instead of being like, what the fuck, this is weird, it actually added to

the strategy.

It added to the entertainment. It gave us a wild

travel council. This was Jeff Proops and all the producers wet dreams when they basically instituted

all these twists. Bro, it didn't work a single time the entire season 41. Like nothing worked.

And looking back on it, we thought, I'm just wondering if,

if it, we always just thought it was terrible editing, which there to a point it was,
