Well, hello there. Wherever you are listening from, I am glad you have joined me for the

morning mindset. This is where we get our minds aligned with the truth of God's word for this day.

Welcome to the morning mindset. Today we are continuing our series called God's story,

where I'm highlighting the pivotal events in the biblical timeline.

And today we're going to look at what I'm calling an accidental prophecy.

Now, no prophecy is ever accidental from God's standpoint.

But the person who was giving this prophecy didn't even know they were giving it,

and they gave it about a very important thing.

We're going to see that in John 11, verses 47 through 52.

So get out your Bibles, but first, I want to invite you to pray with me. Our Lord and our God,

we want to understand your word today. So give us insight. Give us eyes to see and ears to hear.

And enable us by your power to apply this rightly in our lives in Jesus name. Amen.

Okay, now the event we're going to look at today isn't necessarily a pivotal event like the rest of the events I've been highlighting, but it is an indication of what God was doing through Jesus Christ

that not even the religious officials of Jesus'

day were aware of.

Let's look at John 11, 47 through 52.

It says, so the chief priests and the Pharisees gathered the council and said, what are we

to do?

For this man performs many signs. Now, they're talking about Jesus,
