It is Sunday afternoon everyone. Welcome to Cafferoo Cast. I am actually I'm going

Whitetail hunting tomorrow. I'm driving down to Texas to hang out with Scott and

hopefully hopefully Oklahoma after that and we had to run down and grab some

supplies and I had my lovely wife Amy with me and so we are going to talk about

her first Whitetail hunt and how she deals with me on a day-to-day basis.

So tell everyone what happened where were you what was going on?

Well we were in Texas as most people know with top of Texas outfitters and I sat with Scott

in the blind and it was it was pretty cool the first day I think was the first yeah the first night

um we had two doves come in and I honestly went into this hunt not sure if I could shoot a deer

I never shot one before and I just didn't know emotionally whether I could do it or not and so

we were sitting there and the two doves come in and they were just milling around you know just

kind of teasing me and I looked at Scott and I said hey I think I want to try to shoot one and

he said all right you know go for it and of course my tag covered it or my license covered it so

I thought well if I can shoot a doe I shouldn't have any problem shooting a buck so um

I went for it and I shot her and um it was a really good clean shot it was 22 yards maybe so

super good shot and she died maybe 20 yards from where I shot her went down I got her in the lungs so

it was pretty quick and it I was like okay I can do this so after that I felt a little bit better

knowing that I could shoot a deer and so we continued so Amy obviously his fast forward

like most of her life along the way so when I um when I when I I met Amy originally in like 2007 and

um like you guys were mostly fishermen her family were fishermen and or Fisher women

haha and she pretty much you were more you weren't really vegan but you were definitely didn't eat beef

I didn't eat beef and that wasn't because of moral issues or anything like that I really did it
