and P-body winner. She is an Emmy and Peabody winner.

She is, of course, profoundly interesting

and someone who's weaponized, I think,

embarrassment as a stand-up,

but I think of her first and foremost,

as an actor, at the pleasure of seeing her on stage

on Broadway for a show

for which she got a Tony nomination.

She is currently starring in

creating, producing, and directing several episodes of this show, Life and Beth, which is now

in the second season. My guest, of course, is Amy Schumer. I think I've embarrassed her enough.

And I told you this when I met you that it's fascinating about, you know,

watching you on stage or watching you in movies.

And I think about what you've done in this show is you're using silence

in the way I've seen you use on stage as a stand-up

and so often you play characters

who are almost archetypal fast-talking women
