Hey everybody and welcome back to short stories for kids.

I hope you're all doing really really well.

What is the weather like where you guys are?

Is it sunny?

Is it cold?

Well, I guess I'm really lucky because today is a really really great day.

The sun is shining and the sky is blue so I'm definitely going to go and take a walk

I think in the park today.

Now, the shout out we have today is for Amy and Amy lives in Toronto in Canada.

How cool is that?

And Amy wanted us to write a story with a superhero in it and we really hope that you enjoy

this story.

Amy lived at the top of a tall building in a big city.

It was a really old building with a set of metal steps running down the outside to make

a fire escape.

The fire escape began outside Amy's window, meaning she was lucky enough to have a small

balcony on which she sat a plant pot and a colorful windmill that spun in the breeze.

One night, not long after Amy had gone to bed, she was awoken by a noise on the balcony.

It sounded like her plant pot falling over.

Amy climbed out of bed, padded across the carpeted floor and peered through the curtains.

It came as quite a surprise to her to see a young woman out there.

She was standing the plant pot upright.
